Museum “Nikola Vaptsarov”

The home in which the great Bulgarian poet and the beloved son of Bansko grew up was opened for visitors in 1952, the time when the World Peace Counsel awarded the poet Nikola Vaptsarov posthumously with the honorary diploma. In past years the museum was reconstructed and renovated several times so the exposition could take its final look. The innovative methods used for information include spectacular lighting and sound. Visitors can learn more about the poet and his life work via specially selected videos.
