The House Memorial “Yordan Yovkov”

One of the 100 National Tourist Sites of Bulgaria. It is dominated by the display “The wise and silent master of Bulgarian literature”, presenting the work of the famous Bulgarian writer Yordan Yovkov. The House Memorial also hosts the largest collection of the writer, including photos, books, manuscripts, correspondence, personal items and artistic works by Stoimen Stoilov, Boris Denev Assen Popov, Evgeni Bosyatski, Vezhdi Rashidov, Yordan Gavrilov, Maria Nedkova and others. The House Memorial is a contemporary cultural forum, hosting literary salons and readings, auditoria, theater plays, concerts and musical events, educational programs and many temporary exhibitions on other nationally significant artists from Dobrudzha like the writer Dora Gabe, the painter Peter Dachev, the ballet dancer Anastas Petrov, the drama actress Adriana Budevska, etc.
