Focus agency: Minister Nikolina Angelkova: "Bulgaria’s tourism advertising budget for 2019 is BGN 12.5 million"

“BGN 12.5 million is the budget for tourism advertising of Bulgaria for 2019, Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova said in Veliko Tarnovo, quoted by Focus Radio. She specified that the budget was in line with the amount last year. It includes planned participation in international and domestic tourism fairs, integrated communication campaigns for Bulgaria on 16 target markets, different campaigns with CNN, BBC, National Geographic, Travel TV, and the domestic Unexpected Vacation campaign. Minister Angelkova noted that 2019 had been declared a year of domestic tourism, with various initiatives and events aimed at promoting the country, digital marketing, development of the iLoveBulgaria application, various additional functionalities related to virtual tours and to presenting local sights in a new, interesting and interactive way.”
