The museum in Kavarna dates back to November 14, 1956, when the initiative of local patriots and cooperation with the Varna Archaeological Museum is established first collection in the community center “Suglasie”. The exhibition traces the history of his city and the region of V-VI c. AD until 1940. It artifacts that represent the life and culture of tribes and peoples who inhabited ever this part of Dobrudgha. Here you can see artifacts from major archaeological complexes along the northern Black Sea coast, including Yailata, Kaliakra and the largest Old ceramic center in Europe, discovered near the village of Topola.
