Kom Peak



Kom peak is one of the beautiful places of Bulgaria, glorified in the poem by Ivan Vazov. Several ski slopes descend from its foothills and attract hundreds of winter sports enthusiasts. It is located in the Western Stara Planina mountain, just 18 km from Berkovitsa. Each year a march is organized on Mount Kom, commemorating the liberation of Bulgaria from Ottoman rule, whose paths reach the town of Vratsa.
