The Vihren Peak is a real challenge for the fans of extreme mountaineering. It is the highest peak in the Pirin mountain and with 2914m is the second highest peak in Bulgaria after Musala in Rila mountain and third highest on the Balkan peninsula after Mytikas in Mount Olympus (Greece). Its impressive marble slopes connect with the peaks Muratov and Kutelo (third by height in the nation) and reveal breathtaking views to the Banderish and Vlahin lakes.
