Vratsa Region
Vratsa is a small region, located in the northwestern part of Bulgaria. Its territory covers parts of the Danube plain and Stara Planina. The Ogosta, Scat and Iskar rivers cross the region.
With its diverse, unique and beautiful scenery, the Vratsa Region offers excellent opportunities for tourism – ecological, rural, hunting and cultural. There are also many archaeological and historical monuments in the region.

Ledenika Cave
Ledenika Cave is situated at a distance of 16 km from the town of Vratsa, in the territory of Vrachanski Balkan Natural Park. The cave is situated 830 m above the sea level in the north-west Stresherski section of the Vratsa mountain.
Archaeological Complex “Kaleto”
In the southwest part of Mezdra on a high rocky hill, which is towering above the left bank of the Iskar river, is preserved 70 centuries old history, which is told today at the Archaeological Complex “Kaleto”.
